10. 1/2 teaspoon Salt

11. 1/2 teaspoon Turkish Red Pepper Paste

Recipe

1. Roast the bell peppers on a baking sheet for 35-40 minutes or until they become soft.

👉 You also can use an open flame to roast the peppers.

2. Transfer the peppers into a bowl and place a lid  or a sheet on it.

3. The steam from the cooked peppers will softens the skin and it will be easier to peel it off.

4. It will be better to use red and firm peppers.

5. Now peel the roasted red peppers.

6. Slice the roasted red peppers into  strips.

7. Transfer it to the food processor.

8. Then finely chop the walnuts.

👉 Muhammara is traditionally made using mortar and pestle and has a slightly coarse texture .

So, stirring in finely chopped walnuts in the end will give you the that required texture.

But if you want to make it as a smooth dip, then you can add the walnuts directly into the food processor.

9. Now add the bread crumbs and the lemon juice into the food processor.

10. Add Pomegranate Molasses.

11. Add Ground Cumin.

12. Add Red Chili Flakes.

13. Add Grated Garlic.

14. Now add Turkish red pepper paste.

15. Use the pulse option on the food processor and process the ingredients into slightly coarse but cohesive mixture.

16. If you want a smooth dip then you would process it longer.

17.  Now add finely chopped walnuts, olive oil and salt into it and pulse it again to combine well.

18. You can lightly toast walnuts for flavor if you want.

19. Now take it out in a serving bowl and serve with any of your favorite dish.

Enjoy !!
