Chicken Parmesan with Marinara Sauce is an Italian American dish. It is made by fried chicken cutlets with toping of Marinara Sauce and Cheese. It is often served with Pasta, spaghettis and green Salad.
There are many recipes of Chicken Parmesan but here I will share a unique and quick recipe. I hope you will enjoy so follow all the steps correctly.
INGREDIENTS FOR MARINARA SAUCE
1. 1 medium size Onion
2.1 table spoon Garlic Paste
3. 2 table spoon Olive Oil
4. 4 Tomatoes or 2 cup Puree
5. 1 teaspoon Basil Leaves
6. 2 teaspoon Chili Flakes
7. 1/2 teaspoon Salt
8. 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN PARMESAN
1. 3-4 Cup all purpose Flour
2. 750 Gram Chicken Breast
3. 2 Eggs
4. 3 cup Bread Crumbs
5. 6 table spoon Parmesan Cheese
6. 1/2 teaspoon Salt
7. 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes
8. 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
RECIPE OF MARINARA SAUCE
1. Place a sauce pan over a medium flame and add 2 table spoon Olive Oil.
2. Add finely Chopped Onion and stir that about 5 minutes or until it soften or lightly golden.
3. Add minced Garlic and stir for another minute or until fragrant.
4. Add Tomato puree to it.
5. Add Salt , Chili Flakes and Black Pepper to it. Bring that mixture to a light boil then reduce the heat and cook partially cover for 15 minutes.
6. After 15 minutes add chopped basil leaves and turn off the flame. Take it out in a serving bowl the Sauce is ready.
RECIPE OF CHICKEN PARMESAN
1. Cut the two Breast in half lengthwise to get four even cutlets.
👉 If the cutlets are uneven or very large then pound them between two sheets of plastic wrap for an even thickness. This way they will cook much more evenly.
2. Lightly season both sides of your cutlets with Salt, Pepper and Chili Flakes.
👉 Now we are going to set up a simple breading station.
3. In the first shallow bowl, combine all purpose flour with salt and black pepper. Stir that mixture together just to combine.
4. In the Second shallow bowl, beat together 2 eggs until frothy.
5. In the third shallow bowl add bread crumbs and parmesan cheese that has been shredded.
6. Now bread the Chicken Cutlets. Dip the first one into the flour Mixture and tap off the excess.
7. Dip in the second bowl that are beaten eggs, turn that to get an even coating.
8. At last dip the cutlets into the cheesy breadcrumbs pressing the cutlets into the breading to ensure a thick even coating of crumbs and making sure the both sides are bread.
9. Transfer that into a plater and finish breading the remaining cutlets in the same way.
10. Now place a non-stick pan over a medium heat and add enough Oil to coat the bottom of the pan or about 2 table spoon.
11. When the oil is hot add the chicken and saute for 3-4 minutes per side. Or depending on the thickness of the chicken cutlets.
12. When the cutlets become golden brown take the chicken off the heat.
13. Now take a bowl and spread half of the marinara sauce in the bowl and place the saute chicken in a single layer over the sauce.
14. Spoon the remaining sauce generously over the center of each chicken cutlets.
👉 The Marinara will help seal in the juiciness of the chicken and adds incredible flavor.
15. Top with shredded cheese and bake that uncovered on the center rack of a preheated oven at 425 degrees fohrenheit for 15 minutes.
16. Take it out and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
